Ahmad Shikhtholth, M.D.

Ahmad Shikhtholth, MD, is an expertly trained physician who is determined to better the lives of his patients. He is passionate about interventional pain management and helping patients in his community.

Dr. Shikh attended Damascus University from 1991 to 1996. He attended his internship in Surgery at Graduate Hospital in Philadelphia then he moved to New York where he completed his residency in Anesthesiology at New York medical college, then his fellowship in pain Management at the same college. In 2006 Dr. Shikh moved to Decatur, Alabama where he has since practiced anesthesiology and interventional pain management treating thousands of patients.

Dr. Shikh is board certified in both Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine. He is an active member of numerous medical societies.

As the founder and medical director of Valley Pain Clinic, Dr. Shikh’s goal is to offer the highest quality care in a friendly and caring atmosphere. His desire is for each patient to develop confidence that he and his staff have their best interest in mind as they develop the care plan for the patient.
